Today is my mom's birthday!
A couple weeks ago I wrote a post on my dad, and how he is my hero, and he is, but I have to say that my mom is my hero also. She does so much more me, even when my dad says stop, she still does.
When I was young my mom went back to school, she is my inspiration for going back myself, cause she told me that I could do it.
She likes all my pictures that I take, and she always says that I am good at taking pictures (which sometimes I disagree with)
I call my mom pretty much everyday, and I know there are days that she thinks, stop calling me me Kel, but never says it to me, and if I do not call she calls me to make sure everything is okay.
Finally, my mom has had a tough year, my dad has cancer, and she is taking care of him full time, and then some. She does not let anyone help her, and she says that if she took a break it would not be fair to my dad. So I have decided that as soon as my dad gets better, and he will,
Mom you and I are off to get pedicures and manicures, that is my birthday present to you, only we are doing it on Newbury St in Boston, and then shopping for the day.

ReplyDeleteWhat the heck is that supposed to mean. :) I drive good down there, I get you to where you need to be and then some. It is always good to get the heart rate elevated :)
